Experienced Geotechnical Engineer with 25+ years in the global minerals industry, most serving as Principal Advisor, Geotechnical and Mining at Rio Tinto. Based in Brisbane, I specialize in managing geotechnical risk across a wide range of commodities and mining methods, supporting major hazard management and assurance programs
I have previously led technical teams through complex operational challenges, and driving strategic improvements in mine planning and performance. My early work in geotechnical data innovation helped standardize practices and supported major mining projects like Resolution Copper and Oyu Tolgoi. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Geological) with Honours from RMIT and am passionate about collaborative leadership and advancing geotechnical excellence in mining.
